What you are witnessing here is the end of Bās Blasta’s career.

The dude is up there performing his big single “Ain’t Whatcha Do” (produced by the beatnuts), when basically the crowd and the whole BCC turn on him. The crowd is chanting something I can’t make out and buckshot does not look very happy back there. Eventually it gets to the point where Steele from Smif N Wessun just runs up on the performance and punks him right off the stage.

Its sad, but I don’t think he ever recovered from this moment. Bās Blasta, I feel for you…

Today, this insanely obscure clip comes courtesy of my main man Craig from Rap, Lies and Videotape. Ayo Craig, break it down like this:

Given a few minutes on a MTV variety show whose name has been lost to history, Ice T takes you on a walk through Hollywood and shows you why he’s still a star today. Riffing on the people and scenery around him, IceT effortlessly improvises and displays a sharp sense of humor, two of the qualities that any rapper would be wise to cultivate.
