Ok it’s rant-time. Fuck Fox networks and their stupid ass voiceover dude who always ruined the end of show performances on In Living Color.

It’s bad enough that they didn’t have one every episode, even worse that the credits were rolling during the performances, but to insult Rakim with some jackass telling us about upcoming Super Dave shit? Dag, hip-hop takes a major L overall in the early 90’s in terms of respect.

Anyways, Rakim and Eric B.(he did/does nothing anyways) performing Juice(Know The Ledge) on In Living Color. Rakim is killing them with the uptowns and throwback fitted. Who knew that 15 years later, the same shit would be in style.

It’s always a shame when nostalgia meets youtube. You’ll watch a video and it’s just like, “Damn, where was I when THAT happened?”. When you watch every little thing, you don’t miss a thing. But you gotta think, what do I ignore now that I might regret ignoring later? Gotta be at the right place at the right times, man.

Any Jedi Mind Tricks fans out here? I really like

A complete tangent, but funny you should mention it, when Rakim performed in Central Park last summer, I happened to meet his manager and end up taking a cab ride up town to get him a Yankees fitted and a fresh pair of uptowns just so he could go on stage. It’s definitely still in style.
