Human Education Against Lies

Not nearly as well-publicized or remembered as the Stop The Violence/Self Destruction project, Krs-One’s H.E.A.L. project was spearheaded by an all-star lineup posse cut and lead off single, H.E.A.L. Yourself. This is a video of the making of that video and features footage from all the artists involved.
My personal favourite is a young Freddie Foxxx breaking down his verse and getting real serious about it. I never realized he was such a ladies man…this is the same guy with burn marks on his hips from his twin glocks! Please don’t come looking for me Bumpy Knucks, I’m just pointing out the depth of your character.

I think I was one of the few people that actually bought H.E.A.L. and I bought the tape and the CD to support it (silly in my youth, huh?). it wasn’t all that good though.
