Main Source Breaks the Atom

Live. EARLY!
In the words of Funkmaster Flex from his legendary July 4th weekend 90’s mix last year, Large Professor when this dude was broke!
I’ve been holding onto this one for a while but it’s only right to let it out with all the footage we have coming soon. Main Source performing Atom which was not on their debut LP, Breakin’ Atoms. The footage is from a dance show up here called Electric Circus. It got wack as hell in their later years but definitely had a heavy hip-hop influence in the early 90’s.
Atom appears on an obscure Canadian Hip-Hop Compliation called Cold Front from 1991. The good people at Cocaine Blunts have already uploaded this track along with the A-side, Think so I might as well give them their propers.

I love how K-Cut & Sir Scratch are just cutting up records, doin the damn thing, oblivious to the fact that almost 20 years later the record would be worth LOOT!
I’ve heard the infamous story about Carnival Records (famed T-Dot old school record shop), having a BOX of those shits, just sitting there.
Big shout out to Grouch!

Back in the mid 90’s Starting From Scratch & I found a ton of these in Vinyl Museum. I remember giving away copies to people and selling the rest years later. Should have hung on to a few. Beware of bootlegs….
Great site. Maybe I could send in some things to get posted?
Thx again,
Billy
