I remember the “Break The Chain” video (Big Joe Crash??).

Onyx could have been the weirdest comic book choice ever.

I was gonna scan the Freddie Foxxx one too, but I was afraid of the possible repercussions from the twin glocks.
Can’t upset Freddie Foxxx AND Suge Knight in the same day… That’d just be going against my better judgement.

Marvel had a line called Marvel Music, or something like that. They had a comic by KRS-One and Kyle Baker (Break the Chain), which was initially supposed to be an ongoing, and the Onyx GN. Break the Chain was actually pretty good.

haha! you know, i found this in a comic book store and copped it for its novelty. don’t know where my copy is now, though…

actually, wu did drop a few comics w/ rza co-writing i think. public enemy had one fairly recently, too, but it was bugged out with them hopping in robot suits like it was aliens 2. for whatever reason (sarcasm), neither really took off.

Why didn’t other artists think of creating comics for promotion? It would have been great for Redman, Organized Konfusion and Wu-Tang.
