Our first Fugees post!

This footage of Prakazrel, L-Boogie and Wyclef “The Haitian Rooster” (pause), is from 94, just after the release of The Tranzlator Crew’s debut album, Blunted On Reality. I had just come back from NY and the Nappy Heads Remix was killing the radio stations. Needless to say, I copped the cassingle and was checking for them at every chance I could.

Check L-Boogie freestyling how a lot of us remember freestyling - spontaneous, off the top of the head, with some random nonsensicalness. I miss that shit.

The interview was filmed at 238 Queen Street across from the MuchMusic building, here in Toronto.

So sad that Queen St. burned down. Lauryn looks mad young here.

I was there when Much was filming this interview. Afterward, the Fugee’s walked up to myself and a few friends and invited us to the concert that night at Opera House. Ben Harper opened up for them… Lauren, albeit, beautiful, had a CAKE of makeup on. Like a crazy thick LAYER of makeup. It was mad distracting…

    hahahahaha. Caked up makeup. Classy.

Didn’t seem like Pras was enjoying his smoothie either. OLIVER: “Yo how’s your juice?”
    PRAS:” it tastes”
