Here is the second part to this classic interview, supplied by DJ Nes.
I always wondered why no one ever fucked with redman on record. “ima find out where you live at”, enough said.

classic interview right, legendary even. redman rockin the helly hansen!! thats classic! ill still rock one if i had one, no doubt.
but the thing that tripped me out was when fab 5 asked redman what u feel about the state of emcees at that time. and red had a response!
I mean thats the golden era right there, ‘95 man! there was nothing wrong at that time and for the next 3 years!
i wish they had a crystal ball and see what hip-hop would be like in 2008, i bet they would cherish what they had at that time.
But that interview was done at a time when hip-hop was fresh and had many different styles. i miss those days growing up to that!

i agree with brandan - it always bugs me out when you read articles or hear interviews from back in the day and people are talking about the state of hip-hop - not to say there wasn’t wack artists and fake thugs etc back then as well, but if only we could’ve seen how bad things were REALLY going to get.
on the redman tip though, the album this interview was promoting, “dare iz a darkside”, is definitely my favourite reggie noble project. don’t get me wrong, “whut? thee album” is a stone cold classic as well, but redman took it to the lower levels of da funk on “dare iz..” like a b-boy george clinton.
definitely one of the illest emcees of all-time.

Mobb Deep were probably the only ones that ever went at Reggie & Keith Murray.
