Let’s just keep it a 3rd Bass day. Here’s a reminder of when it was all good between Serch and Pete Nice and they were still releasing dope albums with some of the best skits ever. This is a video interview from Slammin’ The Rap Video Magazine.
So I’m obviously one of the 17 people who copped the Pete Nice solo project, which is maybe why this video has sentimental value for me.
It’s definitely weird. There’s definitely a fat guy who for whatever reason is the main focus or at least subplot of the video. There’s definitely at least one random rap cameo in it as well.
Sidebar..and I can’t take credit for this story. My man Toddy Flores from montreal put me up on a crazy Pete Nice fact. 3rd Bass had a show there in the early 90’s and someone rushed the stage and tried to throw down. Pete Nice’s ubiquitous cane suddenly becomes a huge blade after he pulls it out of it’s fake cane sheath. NO JOKE.
