My homie Andy hit me up with this dope Ice Cube piece that was done for, what looks like, 60 Minutes. This was done right before the classic AMW album.
They go pretty deep in this segment, Cube takes us in the studio as well as his old hood in South Central, even a lil concert footage.

damn that is pac is full “bishop mode”….his outfit looks like the same one he wore in juice after they robbed the store and the cops came lookin for them at the dj battle minus the fly as denim jacket wit the hat of course

I think the program this was on was actually 48 HOURS, also on CBS, as the reporter is Bernard Goldberg and he used to do alot of segments on that show.

Amazing site.
Hip Hop was really viewed as ‘dangerous music’ back then. Almost kinda like how punk was perceived in the UK in 1977. Though it was inevitable that both got absorbed into the mainstream and therefore lost their edge and the things that made them vital in the first place.
Whats funny is the presenter calling Cube out on his street not looking hard.
