Here is another rare commercial for the Dogg Pound’s 1st album. I always thought that rap commercials were pretty cool since they were harder to come by than videos. Even though in 1995 when this came out, it was still pretty hard from rappers to get any air time.
My buddy gave me a few tapes he found in his basement the other day and I found the holy grail. Chuck D & PE performing live in studio with Fab 5 after Freddy gave this dope intro under the Brooklyn Bridge. I have never seen this studio that PE was in, Terminator was cutting it up the S1W’s were dancing away and then about 53 seconds in, the tape cuts out…show over. So instead kids, you get this piece. Fresh Prince, Jeff and Fab 5 in a boxing gym. Goofiness ensues as usual. I still have have one more keeper from my buddy’s tapes yet to come.
