This is possibly the most rare clip I’ve had the privilege of posting on themeaningofdope.com since our inception. First off, a big stupid dookie dope shout out to Matt Bane for hooking this footage up. Yes, the quality is pretty bad but I think that the rarity of the clip makes up for it.
We all know that the movie comes out tomorrow, and we all know that Ez Mo Bee isn’t a character in this movie. We all know that he had multiple beats on Ready To Die, and we all know that he was instrumental in the early success of Bad Boy with his signature boom-bap sound and was justifiably upset about being excluded from the film.
What we didn’t know is how charismatic he was and the respect that B.I.G. had for him, or that his birthday was celebrated with the presentation of his platinum plaque for Flava In Your Ear.
This video shows the closeness between Ez Mo and B.I.G. and just how powerful B.I.G. was even without a mic or a beat backing him. I get chills watching this video, hopefully Notorious will give me some of the same feeling.
The 2 things about this video that keep popping out to me are the following:
1. Why is the birthday cake on the floor?
2. Is B.I.G. actually wearing a Bas Blasta skullie? Wow.

i know Easy Mo Bee was mad that he didnt get to be a part of the movie, but if he looks at this clip i mean what can u say. imagine BIG right next to u tellin u how much u meant to his career and the nigga biggin u up and takin time out his day to be there for u on ur birthday, i mean cmon man thats unreal. I bet if Eazy Mo Bee ever get a chance to see this clip he will be proud and just smiling cause he is part of history!
and this had to be from ‘94, Eazy Mo Bee was just gettin started cause he provided more classics in ‘95. Eazy mo Bee done joints that all u people be jammin to but dont even know that he did. check the credits my people.
But this vid is priceless man, i thought i had some stuff, ths is rare but i have a few rare clips as well.
