Who ever thought throwing to videos could be so entertaining? Rocking basically the same get-up as this performance, Black Moon gets their chance to throw down on Rap City.

    U see, this is what im talkin about right here! This is what it was all about!! And BET is just sittin on all this classic shit actin like nobody dont wanna see it or nothin like that!
    Now in ‘93 i was in the 6th grade and i didnt catch much of Rap City at all. It wasnt until late ‘94 when i came home from school in the 7th grade, turned the TV to BET and caught Nas “It Aint Hard To Tell” video for the 1st time, from that point on it was a wrap! Every day since then i caught rap City and that was right around the time Joe Clair & Big Lez used to host!
    Now i know BET aint gonna show none of this shit anytime soon, but its kool im gonna hunt down every nice episode of Rap City from ‘93-’99!! Cause Big Tig took over late ‘99. So fuck BET, ill do it myself!!

    amazing, this clip is fuckin hilarious and yet soooo classic! remember when hip hop names were all about the acronyms!!? I dont think most people remember what b.l.a.c.k m.o.o.n stood for!

    yes! i remember that rap city montage with much fondness!

    haha the grenade attached to the drawstring of the colorful raincoat jammy…they were definitely not hesistant to represent, either.

    i remember the how many mc’s video well evil dee cuttin with his feet up on the wall and the ill step out by buckshot in the rod lavers.
