MVP actually had a a song that came out on a Tommy Boy compilation called “Planet Rap” A.D.L.’s ‘Daddy” was on the same compilation.

Holy!!! Scarbro all day for real! I think that was the show they did before openin for bdp that night. Crazy energy! Wio-k and LC still do shit. MVP had some dope shit in the works with djx, some hit radio, but most never came out. Scarbro flags up!!!

If I remember correctly this song was actually on a CD compilation wayyyyyy back when…I’ll have to ask Wio about it but MVP definitely had a track out in the early 90’s before they split up as a group. Good lookin on the post!

yeah, mvp didn’t get much material out, never pressed vinyl to the best of my knowledge but if you get up on the Monolith crew, you will definitely be able to find some music by at least 2 of the dudes in the group.
Search for The Long Awaited EP. If you can’t find it, i’m sure one of us can rip it.

As much as I lived and enjoyed 90’s HipHop I really don’t remember this track or the group. I know you said “chosen few” but this track reminds me so much of “who got the skills” by the Youngstas. Just the wardrobe alone brings back memories….rare tracks likes this normally ended up on DNA & HankLove or The NightHawks Radio Show…..

Damn…this track was clearly slept on….
