On Blast! David Faustino
» Published by PROPSMASTER JC
Does the name David Faustino sound familiar? If you are up on your Married With Children game you would know that is our lil homie Bud Bundy. Well, in the early 90s he went all hiphop on us and did a video under the name D’LIL. I cant find an official release for this track anywhere, so this video could be pretty rare.
But people, please watch this video all the way through. If you can actually manage to go the whole way with a straight face, there is something seriously wrong with you. His third verse almost had me in tears. Enjoy.

When Faustino made his cameo appearance in the Jeru video, we all knew “back then” he was up to something. No white rappers during this time frame got any love, especially this cat. This is the same year “Snow” dropped informer and it was like “not another white rapper” syndrome.
Hear me out, Third Bass, House Of Pain, and The Beasties really don’t count (they were groups and respected) but as a soloist…nah. The only person who really could of changed the game at this time frame. Oh Wait, There was that “Keep It Real” Cat from Jersey who I dare not say his name, but he coulda did something…….ok MilkBone.

I actually think David had some skillz. I know it’s cool to make fun of him and all but for reals, with a little more I think D’lil could have gone places. For 1992, I’m surprised how ahead of it’s time this video is.
