EPMD + Party Machine=?

EPMD. Party Machine. two words that I would separately never front on, but together? something just don’t seem right. Is it the E and the P’s matching leather suit/hat combo’s that looks like a couch that got turfed from a low-budget 80’s porn set? Maybe it’s the fact that they’re LIP-SYNCING? (a pretty common component to a Party Machine performance-correct me if I’m wrong,but I think L.O.N.S performance that we posted awhile back was the only one that didn’t feature the dreaded lip-sync)
Sorry for the rant, but I really can’t figure out what it is that doesn’t sit right with me. EPMD could easily be one of my favorite rap groups of all time (Word to Phife Dawg), and Party Machine’s cool so what happened? Don’t get it twisted, I don’t by any means think this is the worst performance or anything, I guess I just expected more.

Me and the homies STUDIED the light skinned dancer. He was like the illest dude we had ever seen freestyle dance. And yeah, at the time I was like, “wtf, the turnables are not on” They weren’t even PLUGGED IN!!! lol…
Yo! I think Big Daddy Kane didn’t lip sync. And they had the ill 900 number dance intro with scoob and scrap! POST IT!!!!!

Hmmmm.
Another Homework Lesson: During this particular time frame a lot of shows copied the pattern of “lip sync” from American Bandstand, Soul Train….so basically it was the norm.
Homeword Lesson II: Those outfits are extremely EPMD and anyone else who were Dapper Dan fans……….if you research a tad bit further RUN DMC reinvented themselves with Matching Suits for a song called Pause…google it…for those who don’t believen then check to see what year it was…

That was not Stezo.
Stezo was long gone… left their group and then he released his own album.
C’mon now…. that’s kinda insulting… you don’t think a dude commenting on how his homies studied dancers wouldn’t know if it was a dude they were supposed to know? Homeboy doesn’t even look remotely like Stezo.
