I interviewed him on my radio show back in 1999 and he was about the coolest, friendliest artist I've ever dealt with. At the end of the interview he asked if he could buy one of my "Children's Story" 12"s off me. He said he needed the instrumental and had gone to stores all over NYC trying to find the record. I tried to just give it to him but he slipped me $100 and took the single. It was only after the fact I noticed that there is no instrumental on the 12".
