By about 1993, Mtv had shortened Yo! down to 30 minutes and put it on after bed time. I think it was on at 11pm or 12am. This was the first signal for the beginning of the end for Yo! These clips are from right around the time of the filming of Who’s The Man. Since the interviews, if you can call them that, are very short, I am trying to fit a few into this post. I love Charlie Brown trying to talk at the same time as Busta when they are in the car at the end of the LONS clip. Again, foreshadowing. In the clip below, I think GURU shows the camera did not intimidate him. Ed is acting goofy and miss a great op for some one-on-one time with 1/2 of Gang Starr. Props to Mtv on the Gangstarr gaff. RIP Ted Demme.

It is almost like you count down to when the LONS have they fallen out on live television. You have showed ever part of there career except for that. How about dropping that footage of C. Brown going bananas on Busta. I have never seen it but have heard so much.

Guru got that voice kid…….someday people are going to look at this footage you are archiving as history of the beginnings of hip-hop. I remember when MTV started castrating Yo…..I remember seeking out the house to go to my next door neighbor just to see a bit after curfew.
