KRS shows he has a funny side to compliment his serious, intellectual side. Even while he is going on his tirade about there being fried chicken and pork in his dressing room, he is doing it with a smile on his face.

This little snippet I believe is from the 1st episode of Yo! It has Public Enemy Jam Master Jay (R.I.P) & EPMD. Gotta love when Flav and Chuck kick it into a segment of “New and Upcoming Rap ready to rock the house”. WOW look at these artists on the New and Upcoming list.

Meshell Ndegeocello visits the ILC set and is joined by Biz Markie. Is it me or does Biz look like a giant in this clip? Again with the fast acting credits button.

I am not sure but i don’t think HEAL was as big of a record as KRS was hoping for. H.E.A.L. is actually a movement that stands for: Human Education Against Lies. And as I stated there is an album by this name. Though I can’t say I have ever heard it. Here are the objectives of H.E.A.L. as listed on graffiti.org:

Objectives of H.E.A.L.:
Heal the minds of the People especially youth by providing true facts.
Help build reasoning skills needed for human behavior rather than focusing on the sleep techniques of memorization.

Even Todd Shaw isn’t immune to the occasional dirty cop. Harassment by the men in blue was long over looked up until the infamous Rodney King incident. Ice-T, N.W.A, Too $hort and others were telling stories of mistreatment by law enforcement that blew people’s minds. First clips he says that there are some good cops. Second clip below, Short talks about I Wanna Be Free and where the background for that single comes from. “If you woulda been in your Maxima you wouldn’t have been pulled over Ant Banks.”

KK, the D and DJ Quik pitchin and buy Dee Barnes a Datsun. Dee doesn’t look too happy with the key and a $20 bill. The guys think it is pretty funny though.

Just some more of Ice-T being his OG/Pimp self. Tracey rips it on the New Jack City set. Yes I know not many care about him anymore, but I keep proppin him for his place in the hip hop annuls. Yo, Pookie we see you back there.

Music Video Vault : Leshaun “Wide Open”

Leshaun had a very short career. Her funny sex rhymes set her apart from other female rappers of the day. Jumping on board with the Flava Unit you would have thought she would have got more mileage. She released just 2 singles. But made a few appearance on a few LL Cool J albums and also made an appearance with Coolio too.

Come on, lets jump in Mix-A-Lot’s 750 Beamer. He takes us on a trip to see his old stomping grounds and telling tales of the hood and roll models not giving back. We get a small glimpse of Mix-A-Lot’s self owned studio.

Wow, here is a GEM! Big Stretch of Live Squad with Ed on the set of Who’s the Man. Dre drops a big one: that he is the executive producer of their unreleased joint. (Yes, I am aware that the album has found it’s way to the internet) Stretch talks about how he got Dre his demo leading the Ed “discovering” them. Also, an amusing back-n-forth with Ed in his police uniform.
