Parlez-vous français Cube?
» Published by house
This vid is from a period right after “Kill At Will” came out. I was a little bit surprised to hear Ice Cube talking about his life while growing up. Turns out that he was pretty much a suburban kid. Cube and a few other members of the Lench Mob smack the crowd in the face on the stage show section of this segment. If you can over look the quality and the little bit of french narration, this is a nice little clip. I think the quality suffered due to a PAL to NTSC conversion.

This is fantastic, especially with him talking about his father as a role model.

I remember vividly seeing this programme on VPRO, a Dutch broadcast organisation, way back in 1991 (just when Kill At Will came out). I think it was called Onrust or something by Bram van Splunteren who also made a documentary called ‘Big Fun In The Big City’ (a must see). Gotta give them props for doing interviews and coverages of artists like these. They also interviewed Ice-T and Red Hot Chili Peppers and I recall Tragedy/Intelligent Hoodlum. If somebody can dig up that footage, I’d be very pleased.
